I was very hesitant to use this shop a second time after my last experience there, but unfortunately I did, and I am regretting my decision. The last time I went there, I dealt with a very rude and unprofessional service advisor. I was not only overcharged, but also charged for services done without prior notification and authorization. The shop refused to waive the diagnostic fee, despite the fact that I was giving them an amount of money more or less than equal to the value of my 15 year old car. Immediately upon picking up my car, new electrical problems emerged that didn’t exist before. Also, some damage was done to my interior trim that didn't exist when I brought the car. I swore I would never give business to this establishment again. I took it in this time against my better judgment because of the convenience of the loaner car, which is a service most other shops do not offer. My wipers were not working correctly, and it was a safety hazard to drive my car. Also, I asked to have a speed sensor installed on one of my rear wheels, as my ABS system was not working correctly, and another shop identified this as the cause. I had bought the part and just wanted it installed. When I came in to pick it up, they said that the speed sensor I had purchased was incorrect, but they had resolved the problem with the ABS light coming on the dash by connecting a broken wire to a height sensor. The total price came to $1069: over $700 to replace the wiper transmission and the rest was the charge to connect the wire and charge the diagnostic fee. This shop is the only shop I know of that will not waive diagnostic fees if you agree to do the work with them, even if you end up paying thousands of dollars in repairs. I was told that connecting the wire resolved the problem of my ABS light and traction control light popping up on the dash. Unfortunately, these lights came back on within minutes of driving it from the shop. Overall, I feel have been very dissatisfied and overcharged by the shop, and I would hesitate to ever come again, or to recommend it to anyone else. Avoid at all costs!

First of all I'd like to thank you for your input and after reviewing your service history it appears you've used our shop for several years and 6 service visits without any issues. Please feel free to call our service staff in the future with any questions regarding your invoice, they are here to assist you. As far as this recent repair, your car was misdiagnosed by another shop which explains why they "waived" the diagnostic fee. Our master technicians don't guess at these repairs because it can cost customers much more in the long run as has happen at this visit. Our master technicians and the equipment needed to properly diagnos and repair the cars that we work on come at a cost. To break down your costs of this recent visit, $135.00 was for diagnostics of the wiper system failure, $726.00 was for the replacement and programming of the wiper transmission assembly and the remaining $135.00 was for the repair of the wiring for the ABS level sensor that was improperly diagnosed at no charge by another shop. Hopefully this clarifies the invoice charges for you. If the light has come back on we would love to have the opportunity to revisit your concern at no charge to you. We warranty all our repairs for 36 months / 36,000 miles.

Needed a timing belt replacement on my Subaru and decided to give them a try. Very professional, accurate on their timeline, courteous, and fair in their pricing. I hope to do business with them again. Wish I had gone to them sooner.

Good work as always but I little disappointed in the delay in starting the work

I brought in my very wounded BMW 530xi, and found out that the engine needed considerable work. Carl was the man I worked with and he took me through what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Set me up with a loaner while the work was done. Got my baby back and she purrs like a kitten. I will never take my car to a dealership again. Thanks IMG!

They fixed the original problem (shorted mass air flow sensor) but gave my car back with another unrelated issue (radar sensor warning light on). They wouldn't even look at the problem to give me an estimate on how to fix it without charging me a SECOND service fee ($135). They even noted on the documentation that they gave me that the 2nd issue appeared while they were test driving it after fixing the shorted mass air flow sensor.

IMG has always delivered top notch service for my vehicles. My car was serviced urgently after stalling on the highway. Peter greeted me with a smile and listened to my problem. A loner was offered. They were able to assess the problem within hours and call me immediately. They ordered the necessary parts. My car was ready for delivery the next day. Thank you for your continued service.
